Legacy Community Development seeks to rebuild and restore relationships within Southwest Springfield by affirming the dignity of our neighbors while pursuing an equitable, healthy, sustainable community for all.

WHY WE EXIST
The community development organization of Legacy has been created to fill a void in southwest Springfield. We exist because we live in a fallen world and know the shortcomings on this side of eternity. We exist because we serve a risen Savior and He gives us strength. Sharing the hope of Jesus Christ through multiple platforms. Our goal and established mission is to build relationships, create unity, and establish bridges through education, affordable housing, church connections, social gatherings, and, in addition, become a pathway to social services for all ages and all backgrounds. The gospel is simple. Love God and love others. The work is in the follow-through. Join us to facilitate southwest Springfield and the residence for growth and healthy living.

Legacy's staff live where we serve because we know that the neighborhood needs are 24/7. We choose to live as neighbors helping neighbors. One of the ways is affordable housing in southwest Springfield.
